Defined in psychological terms, grace is something other than our self- conscious personal self.
We may experience three kinds of grace-animal grace, human grace and spiritual grace.

Animal grace comes when we live in harmony with our own nature on the biological level-not abusing our bodies by excess, not interfering with the workings of our indwelling animal intelligence by conscious cravings and aversions, but living wholesomely and lying ourselves open to the ‘virtue of the sun and the spirit of the universe’ and available scientific knowledge. The reward in this is an awareness of life as good, not for any reason but just because it is life.

Human grace comes to us form other persons, social groups, from our own wishes hopes and imaginings projected outside ourselves  and persisting somehow in the psychic medium in a state what we can refer to as second hand objectivity. During our development we get this from parents, teachers or friends and loved ones later in life from spiritual guides and women and men that are generally better and wiser than ourselves.

Spiritual Grace originates form the divine ground of all being by those who have willed away their self-will to the point of being able to truthfully say, ‘Not I, but the God (or force) in me.’
There are few people who can achieve this level:
Such individuals may be identified as being humble and not conceited, Contented and easily satisfied, unburdened with duties and frugal in there ways. Peaceful and calm, wise skilful and friendly. Not proud and demanding in nature. The pure harted ones having clarity of vision with no fixed views, are free of deceptive behaviour, sense desires or hurtful actions to other sentient beings. These individuals are free from drowsiness, are upright and radiate  kindness. Freed from hatred they cherish all living beings and are neither proud or demanding.

Lucky are the ones to know such individuals.
